CUM FILIA REGIS FRANCORUM DUCERETUR AD CONJUGIUM FILII IMPERATORIS CONSTANTINOPOLITANI, HOSPITATA EST APUD S. BENEDICTUM SUPER LIGERIM: CUMQUE QUIDAM EX FAMULIS EJUS VELLET ACCELERARE IGNEM, INJECTO OLEO, FLAMMA EXIVIT PER FORAMINA CAMINI, ET CECIDIT SUPER TECTUM CAMINI: ET HOC CASU TOTA ABBATIA COMBUSTA EST.

Translation of the relics of Saint Benedict.

RELIQUAS SANCTI BENEDICTI CULTIORUM IN THECAM SUPER ALTARE MAIUS REPONI CURAVIT PER PETRUM SENONENSUM ARCHIEPISCOPUM, ODONEM PARISIENSEM, MANASSEM AURELIANENSEM, WILLELMUM AUTISSIODORENSEM ET WILLELMUM NIVERNENSEM EPISCOPOS, CUI SOLENNITATI INTERFUIT S. GUILLELMUS BITURICENSIS ARCHIEPISCOPUS AN 1207 DIE TRANSLATIONIS SANCTI BENEDICTI.

The relics of Saint Benedict were restored to a vessel prepared above the high altar, restored by Pierre, archbishop of Sens, and bishops Odo of Paris, Manasses of Orléans, Guillaume of Auxerre and Guillaume of Nevers, the translation of Saint Benedict occurred the anniversary of the death of Saint Guillelmus archbishop of Bourges, in the year 1207.
